In October 2024, the UK government launched its public engagement initiative, Change NHS, to help shape the NHS 10 Year Plan in England. We want to ensure children and young people are at its centre, and we outline how members in England can help us make the case for children and the child health workforce.
In late 2024 and early 2025, we held workshops with children and young people with varied lived experiences, with members and with stakeholders in health research. We submitted a summary of the insights from each of these to Change NHS.
In December, our Health Policy team (with senior clinical leaders) and RCPCH &Us team (representing the voice of children, young people and families) each submitted an organisational response to Change NHS. We've also written to the People working group.
