Welcoming the disposable vapes banWe first called on the Government to ban disposable e-cigarettes in June 2023, and the ban as of 1 June now brings the UK one step further towards a smokefree generation. But we must not become complacent.
We ask that all paediatric diabetes units in England, Wales and Jersey submit data from patient visits each quarter. We provide the datasets, templates to submit by CSV or patient questionnaire, and user guides.

Use our public, interactive 'dashboards' to view results on the NPDA key performance indicators. Our frequent reporting dashboard is updated quarterly, and our annual dashboard presents final results for the audit year.
Our Parent and Patient Reported Experience Measures (PREM) report presents findings from surveys completed by children and young people with diabetes, and their parents and carers.
Our spotlight audits have looked at: diagnosis and management of Type 2 diabetes (including young people's insights); diabetes-related technologies; and paediatric diabetes workforce.
NPDA Annual conferences
These events are a wonderful opportunity for multidisciplinary teams and others to come together and learn how NPDA data is used in research and to inform best practice.
In January 2025 we held our first hybrid event - more than 80 people joined us in person and more than 300 virtually!
